Lexxy Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Lexxy LLC ("Lexxy", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy applies to all users of our Services worldwide. 

By using Lexxy, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. 

 

1. Scope and Applicability 

This Policy applies to your information when you use the Lexxy mobile application or related Services.
It does not apply to thirdparty services you may connect to Lexxy (if any are introduced in the future), which are governed by their own privacy policies. Lexxy does not currently integrate with external thirdparty services. 

 

2. Information We Collect 

a) Account Information 

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. 

b) Payment Information 

If you purchase a subscription, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing information such as card number, expiration date, and billing address. Lexxy does not store full credit card details. 

c) Communication Inputs (Text + Voice) 

When you use Lexxy, we process the text, audio, and other inputs you provide in order to deliver personalized suggestions, rewrites, insights, and analytics. 

d) Device & Usage Information 

We automatically collect technical information including device type, operating system, IP address, time zone, and usage patterns. 

e) Marketing & Referrals 

If you participate in referral programs or promotions, we may collect information such as your name, email, and referral code. 

 

3. How We Use Your Information 

We use your information to: 

  • Deliver and operate the Services. 
  • Provide personalized communication insights. 
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions. 
  • Communicate about updates, promotions, and referral programs. 
  • Ensure security, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service. 
  • Conduct research and analytics. 
  • Comply with legal obligations. 

 

4. AI Transparency 

Lexxy uses artificial intelligence technologies to provide rewrites, suggestions, and insights. While we aim for accuracy, AI outputs may not always be correct or appropriate. You remain responsible for your use of Lexxy’s suggestions. 

Lexxy does not use your personal data to train AI models. If this changes, we will notify you and request your explicit consent. 

 

5. Sharing of Information 

We may share your information only in the following circumstances: 

  • With thirdparty service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, hosting providers). 
  • If required by law or legal process. 
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Lexxy, our users, or others. 
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. 

We do not sell your personal information. 

 

6. Cookies and Tracking 

Lexxy may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze usage and improve your experience. You may disable cookies, but some features may not function properly. 

 

7. Data Retention 

We retain your personal data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information as described in Section 9A below. 

Deidentified or aggregated data may be retained for analytics. 

 

8. Security 

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption, secure storage, and access controls, to protect your information. No system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. 

 

9. Your Rights 

Depending on your region, you may have rights including: 

  • Access, correction, or deletion of your data. 
  • Objection or restriction of processing. 
  • Withdrawal of consent. 
  • Data portability. 
  • Optout of marketing communications.

9A. Data Deletion & Retention Policy  

This section explains how Lexxy handles data deletion, account closure, and retention. 

1. How You Can Delete Your Account 

You may delete your Lexxy account at any time using either method: 

A. InApp Deletion 

  1. Open Lexxy. 
  2. Click on your Profile icon on top right corner of the screen. 
  3. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. 

B. Email Request 

If you cannot access your account, email support@lexxy.ai with: 

  • Your full name, 
  • The email associated with your account, 
  • A clear request for deletion. 

For security, Lexxy may require additional identity verification. 

 

2. What Happens After You Request Deletion 

A. Immediately: 

  • Your access to Lexxy ends. 
  • Your subscription is canceled. 
  • Your communication history, writing inputs, voice data, insights, and analytics are scheduled for deletion. 

B. Within 30 Days: 

  • Personal data is deleted from active systems. 
  • Backups are purged according to secure erasure protocols. 
  • A confirmation email is sent once deletion is completed. 

All deletions follow industrystandard secure protocols. 

 

3. Subscription & Billing After Deletion 

  • Deleting your account cancels your subscription. 
  • No further charges will occur. 
  • Payments already processed are nonrefundable unless legally required. 
  • If purchased via Apple or Google, you must cancel through the app store as well. 

 

4. Limited Data Retention After Account Deletion 

We may retain limited information for: 

  • Fraud prevention 
  • Security logs 
  • Financial records 
  • Legal or regulatory compliance 

This retained data will not be used for personalization or analytics. 

 

5. Irreversibility of Deletion 

Account deletion is permanent. Deleted accounts cannot be restored. If you return to Lexxy, you must create a new account. 

 

6. Deletion of Data Stored by Third Parties 

If your subscription was purchased via Apple or Google, those platforms may maintain separate transaction records subject to their own privacy policies. 

Lexxy does not control or delete data held by app stores, payment processors, or external services.

10. Children’s Privacy 

Lexxy is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect such data. If you believe we have, contact us so we can delete it. 

 

11. RegionSpecific Disclosures 

California (CCPA/CPRA) 

You may request disclosure or deletion of personal information. Lexxy does not sell data. 

European Residents (GDPR) 

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or lodge complaints with your supervisory authority. 

Nevada Residents 

Lexxy does not sell personal information. 

 

12. Governing Law 

This Policy is governed by Florida law. Disputes must be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida. 

13. Changes to This Policy 

We may update this Policy periodically. If material changes are made, we will notify you via email or inapp notification.
Continued use of Lexxy after changes constitutes acceptance.
